Closing Soon…

Our December 29th, for following Fall 2019 art exhibitions are closing: To Contemplate What Lies Behind Us, by Susan Fecho and Watercolor Society of North Carolina’s Annual Exhibition, juried by Stan Miller. The Imperial Centre will be closed on December 24-26 for the holiday. So, please visit us during our normal hours of operation to experience these exhibits before they’re gone. The Arts Center is always free to experience.

Coming Soon…

Our Spring 2020 art exhibitions open on January 10, 2020. They Include:

  • The Black Light Project: Photography by Bryce Chapman and Randy Curtis
  • Markings of Wildness: By Anne Willson
  • Handcrafted Juried Art Show: Juried by Michelle David Petelinz
  • Where the Dream Began: Martin Luther King, Jr. in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

We will celebrate the opening of these exhibits on Sunday, January 12 from 2-4pm. At 2:30pm, there will be brief announcements and Handcrafted awards. Valerie Wood will provide live music and refreshments will be available for participants. The reception is free and open to the public.

Our normal hours of operation are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10am-5pm and Sundays, 1pm-5pm. The Arts Center is always free to visit. Check back for Spring program announcements in relation to our art exhibitions.
