Summer Art Camps

The City of Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation (Imperial Centre for the Arts and
Sciences) proudly announce a partnership with volunteer teaching artists to offer this
year’s summer art camps.

COST: $25/CHILD

Space is limited to 12 in each session.
We ask that parents/guardians only select one session for each child.

There will be morning sessions and afternoon sessions offered for ages 8-10 yrs and
11-13 yrs.

WEEK OF JULY 20 TH -24 TH
Morning Session: Art Explorers I (Ages, 8-10 yrs.) 10:00 am-12 pm
Afternoon Session, Artful Adventures I (Ages, 11-13 yrs.) 2:00 pm-4:00 pm

WEEK OF JULY 27 TH -31 ST
Morning Session: Art Explorers II (Ages, 8-10 yrs.) 10:00 am-12 pm
Afternoon Session, Artful Adventures II (Ages, 11-13 yrs.) 2:00 pm-4:00 pm

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. All art supplies are provided, and a snack will be
served each day.

Each day students will meet a new teaching artist and create works of art to take home.
They will be using a variety of mediums and techniques!

To enroll, you must register and pay for the class and then complete an application and
sign a waiver. You may click on the appropriate link for your chosen session OR call to
register by phone and an application/waiver form can be emailed, or you may pick up a
copy at our front desk.
