Handbuilt Pottery Class
- Dates: Tuesdays, September 8 – October 13
- Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Length: 6 weeks
- Description: Students will explore foundational handbuilding techniques including pinch, slab, and coil construction. Each participant will create functional or decorative pieces, with opportunities to add texture, carving, and underglaze decoration.

Mixed Media Art Class
- Dates: Tuesdays, October 20 – November 24
- Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Length: 6 weeks
- Description: This class focuses on layered mixed media techniques using acrylic paint, collage materials, stencils, and texture mediums. Students will build expressive art panels through color, symbolism, and creative layering.

Mommy and Me Workshop (Picasso inspired Mask)
October 22, 2026, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Cost: $5/child
Pre-Registration Required, Ages 3-6
This is a parent and child workshop designed to provide a themed art activity for parent and child to explore and create a Picasso inspired mask with different mediums and techniques in art. It is also an opportunity for our staff to highlight educational opportunities at the Imperial Centre.
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY
LIMITED TO 25 PARTICIPANTS.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Siblings are allowed to sign up and participate; however, please remember that this activity is designed as mainly a preschool age and parent workshop.
Mommy and Me Workshop (Lois Ehlbert inspired collage activity)
November 19, 2026, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Cost: $5/child
Pre-Registration Required, Ages 3-6
This is a parent and child workshop designed to provide a themed art activity for parent and child to explore and create an art project based on Children’s book author and illustrator, Lois Ehlbert with different mediums and techniques in art. It is also an opportunity for our staff to highlight educational opportunities at the Imperial Centre.

This is a parent and child workshop designed to provide a themed art activity for parent and child to explore and create an art project based on artist, Wassily Kandinsky with different mediums and techniques in art to create a festive work of art. It is also an opportunity for our staff to highlight educational opportunities at the Imperial Centre.

Scandinavian Star Christmas Tree Ornament Workshop
Ages 12 + years, Pre-registration Required, Free Workshop, Limit of 12 in class
- Dates: Saturday, October 17
- Time: 10-11:30 am
- Length: 1 session
- Description: Learn to make the No-sew Scandinavian Star Christmas Tree Ornament! The star can be made from fabrics or paper and embellished as you desire. Materials and instructions will be provided. Participants must be 12 years of age or older and anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Woven Star Ornament Workshop
- Dates: Saturday, October 24
- Time: 10-11:30 am
- Length: 1 session
- Description: Learn to create this Woven Star Ornament. Bring a pair of scissors and let’s have some fun making our own Christmas ornament. All materials and instructions will be provided. Participants must be 12 years or older and anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Fabric Christmas Tree Ornament Workshop
- Dates: Saturday, October 31
- Time: 10-11:30 am
- Length: 1 session
- Description: Learn how to create this Fabric Christmas Tree ornament using scrap fabric and some glue. Materials and instructions will be provided. Participants must be 12 years or older and anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
